Be a Hospice Hero and join us for HCP’s 39th Annual Golf Classic and 34th Annual Tennis Classic! The event has been postponed to Monday, August 3 at the West Shore Country Club with all proceeds benefiting HCP’s benevolent care fund.

HCP Benevolent Care Fund

The benevolent care fund at HCP provides for charitable hospice care at home and at Carolyn’s House. The fund also provides for complementary therapies such as palliative massage and music therapy, free community bereavement support, special comfort measures and community education.

Golf Classic Information

Changes will be made to the event to accommodate social distancing guidelines if necessary and to ensure you have a fun day with friends. The golf tournament format is a two-person shamble. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available, please see brochure for more details! Both morning and afternoon flights are available, but afternoon flights are only guaranteed for certain sponsor levels. The tournament is open to men and women.

Golf Classic Leadership

This event would not be possible without the leadership of our Golf Chair, Andy Rebuck and Overall Golf & Tennis Chair, John Bolger. Thank you for leading us through a challenging time and keeping HCP focused on our mission to provide the highest quality of emotional, physical and spiritual support with compassion and respect.

Tennis Classic Information

Given the recent guidelines from the USTA regarding tennis play, and at the direction of our Tennis Classic Co-chairs, Dale Beshore and Zach Dixon, HCP is cancelling our annual Tennis Classic originally scheduled for June 1 at West Shore Country Club.

Hospice Heroes

Andy Rebuck has been calling our event participants “Hospice Heroes” and he doesn’t use the term “hero” lightly. Thanks to Hospice Heroes like you, HCP is able to provide a dedicated COVID-19 care team focused solely on providing care for hospice patients who are diagnosed positive for COVID-19 or awaiting test results. Today, HCP is providing care to more than 300 hospice and palliative care patients, and HCP’s COVID-19 Care Team admitted their first COVID-19 positive patient on April 22.

Thank you for supporting HCP and this specialized team in our community. HCP is a market leader when it comes to quality scores, and the hospital and healthcare community rely on us to admit their referrals without regard for a COVID-19 diagnosis, or the ability to pay. Hospice Heroes like you make this good work possible!
