“National Doctors’ Day is not only a day for others to recognize the efforts of medical professionals, but also a day for us as medical professionals to appreciate the impacts of our services on the lives of people we care for.
We sometimes get caught up in the hardships of our positions, focusing on failed treatments and heartbroken families. It can be challenging to work so closely with patients who are suffering and not lose sight of hope ourselves.
