Charitable Gift Annuities
Give while you receive. Transfer money to a charitable gift annuity and receive income for life, a portion of which may be tax-free. Everence Foundation is HCP’s trusted partner in administering charitable gift annuities.
Here’s how charitable gift annuities work:
- You make a donation to HCP (minimum of $10,000).
- You receive fixed monthly, quarterly or annual payments for the rest of your life, at an attractive payment rate.
- You receive an immediate charitable income tax deduction.
- Your gift will benefit you (and someone else, if you choose) now, and help HCP in the future.

Charitable Remainder Trusts
A charitable remainder trust is an irrevocable trust created to distribute a fixed percentage of the value of its assets to a noncharitable beneficiary and, at the expiration of a specified time, the remaining balance of the assets are distributed to charity.
Endowments
Charitable gifts are invested, and earnings can be disbursed in annual support to HCP for years. By prudently investing your initial donation, you’re able to establish a more lasting impact.
Donor Advised Fund
A donor-advised fund offers a flexible and easy-to-establish vehicle for charitable giving. Use it at any time to support your favorite charities.
The Teresa Alexander Legacy Society
The Teresa Alexander Legacy Society was established to recognize and honor all who name Hospice of Central PA as a beneficiary of a will, trust, retirement plan, life insurance policy, life income gift or other type of planned giving arrangement. All are welcome to join the Society regardless of the size of the bequest or planned gift. By becoming a member, you join a community that embraces specialized care at the end of life.
